About the role
As Transducer Design Engineer at Nudge, you will:
Design materials and fabrication methods for in-house ultrasound array fabrication
Design high efficiency elements for transmission through the skull and high bandwidth elements for ultrasound imaging and cavitation detection
Develop methods for measurement of electrical, acoustic, and thermal properties of the elements
Work closely with electrical, mechanical, software, and ultrasound engineers
About you
We are looking for engineers of all levels, with a preference for at least 3 years of industry experience. Regardless of your career level, you should have:
Strong engineering / physics first principles
Experience with multiphysics acoustoelectric modeling
Strong fundamentals in materials science with respect to piezoelectrics
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline
Demonstrated history of exceptional technical contribution
