You Are: SAP Application Security Analyst
The Work: The SAP Application Security Analyst will provide user access management & support including the following responsibilities:
- Process SAP user access requests, role assignments, and terminations following company security policies
- Troubleshoot and resolve login issues, authorization errors, and password resets
- Maintain firefighter access (GRC) and monitor emergency access usage
- Act as the first point of contact for SAP security-related tickets in the helpdesk system
- Investigate and resolve authorization failures, missing roles, and access denials
- Work closely with SAP security administrators and functional teams to escalate and resolve complex security issues
- Assist in maintaining and assigning SAP roles and profiles based on business requirements
- Ensure least privilege access principles and segregation of duties (SoD) compliance
- Collaborate with the security team to improve and refine role design and user provisioning processes
- Support SOX compliance, internal/external audits, and user access reviews
- Assist in monthly/quarterly user access reviews and generate reports as needed
- Ensure security policies and procedures are followed for data protection and risk mitigation
- Document and update SAP security procedures, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides
- Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on SAP security policies and best practices
- Keep up-to-date with SAP security patches, updates, and best practices
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience working in an application maintenance environment
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Articulate, detail-oriented, dedicated and conscientious
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP security concepts, roles, profiles, and authorization objects
- Experience in handling SAP user administration (SU01, PFCG, SUIM, SU53)
- Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control (user provisioning, firefighter access, risk analysis)
Bonus points if you have:
- 3+ years of SAP experience
- Helpdesk lead or Team lead experience
- Knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, and other SAP modules
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
