As a Director of Accounting you will:
- Lead accounting staff across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Work closely with the controller on month-end and special projects.
- Lead inter-entity entries between Navvis and other Surround Care entities.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting for Navvis and other Surround Care entities.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the Controller and CFO, contributing to financial planning, risk management, and policy development.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives in accounting processes, systems, and controls.
- Oversee preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting packages.
- Lead preparation for annual audits and tax filings, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Supervise cash management activities including deposits and client account applications.
- Maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts and provide analytical insights.
- Partner with internal teams to understand key customer and vendor agreements.
- Collaborate with HR and other shared services to align financial systems and reporting with organizational goals.
- Reports to the controller.

Requirements
We are excited about you if you have these things:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles and exposure to controller-level responsibilities.
- Experience in healthcare or similarly regulated industries is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and financial databases.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
