Hybrid Pee Wee Sports and Tumbling Coach presso City of Woodbury, MN

About the Department

The City of Woodbury is currently accepting applications for a temporary, part-time Pee Wee Sports/Tumbling/Activities Leader. This position will instruct groups of children (and parents in specific programs) in activities designed to develop fundamental motor skills, present basic skill development related to specific sports and activities. Some of the activities include soccer, floor hockey, t-ball, basketball, and basic rolls/tumbling skills. The children will range in age from 3 to 7 years. 

Programs will run evenings (6:00pm - 8:00pm) Monday thru Thursday from September - December, 2025 at Middleton Middle School Gymnasium.   Employees will work 2-3 days per week. 

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Desire to work with the designated age group. 

Good judgment and decision making skills. 

Must be creative, innovative, and energetic.

Must be dependable, well organized and able to manage program responsibilities under limited supervision.      

Ability to work between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday (2 or 4 evenings per week based on your availability)        

Minimum age of 15.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Experience (paid or volunteer) with this age group.    

Course work in physical education, parks and recreation, elementary education, youth studies, or related field.  

Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
