Client Service Representative – Animal Infirmary of Hoboken
What You’ll Do
- Be the friendly first (and last!) impression for our clients—whether face-to-face or over the phone
- Master the art of juggling: scheduling appointments, updating records, processing payments, and keeping the lobby looking sharp
- Offer comfort and clarity to pet parents—especially when things get a little stressful
- Share your knowledge about wellness plans, nutrition, and products (yes, you’ll become a pro at explaining why Fido needs the good flea meds)
- Tackle essential admin tasks like reports, deposits, data entry, and admitting patients (bonus points if you can do it while petting a puppy)
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of customer service experience (veterinary or medical is a plus, but not required for the right people-person)
- Computer-savvy and comfortable with phones, payments, and the occasional fax machine (yes, they still exist)
- Great communicator who can explain the difference between an emergency and a “my cat sneezed once” call
- Organized multitasker who thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Patient, positive, and ready to bring good vibes to pets, clients, and coworkers alike
