Imagine this.. you’re not just working on navigation, you’re engineering the brain and senses that guide UAVs and advanced aerospace systems through the most complex environments. As a GNSS Systems Engineer at Destinus, you’ll design and integrate resilient positioning systems that cut through jamming, spoofing, and environmental challenges. Your work will ensure our platforms always know exactly where they are – no matter how hostile the skies become.

At Destinus, we are revolutionizing the defense industry with cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Our innovative technologies are designed to meet the unique demands of modern defense operations, delivering unparalleled speed, precision, and cost effectiveness. Destinus partners with government agencies and defense organizations worldwide to provide advanced solutions for mission-critical operations, enabling a new era of efficiency and technological superiority. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform link budget analysis and modeling of GNSS and communication links
  • Analyze and simulate Controlled Reception Pattern Antennas (CRPAs) for anti-jam and anti-spoofing
  • Develop and simulate RF system models for satellite navigation and positioning applications
  • Evaluate and implement advanced signal processing techniques to improve accuracy and resilience
  • Integrate COTS GNSS antennas and receiver modules into embedded systems and products
  • Plan and execute laboratory testing of GNSS antennas and receivers, including validation and debugging
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure successful integration into UAV and defense platforms
  • Document technical findings, test results, and design decisions in a clear and structured way

Requirements

What You´ll Need

    • Deep knowledge of satellite-based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems across space and ground segments
    • Expertise in at least one GNSS standard such as GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, or BeiDou; multi-system experience is highly valued
    • Strong understanding of RF receiver architectures and signal chains for navigation
    • Solid background in signal processing techniques including filtering, tracking, and interference mitigation
    • Thorough understanding of radio wave propagation effects such as multipath and fading
    • Strong grasp of antenna theory, including CRPA systems for anti-jam and anti-spoofing
    • Proficiency in Python for RF system modeling, signal analysis, and simulation workflows
    • Hands-on experience with GNSS jamming and spoofing scenarios is a strong plus

Who You Are

You thrive where precision meets resilience. You’re passionate about making navigation systems smarter, tougher, and more reliable under pressure. When interference or complexity strikes, you don’t panic – you problem-solve. You enjoy moving between theory, simulation, and real-world testing, and you love collaborating with experts from different domains to push technology to the next level.
