What You’ll Get to Do

The Driver Class 3 or 5Q is focused on providing exemplary customer service to our clients and co-workers, adhering to all corporate and federal transportation safety policies while ensuring safe and damage free delivery of shipments. Encompass best practice when faced with situations that require individual decision and reports to the Plant Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who customer oriented, safety centric, and goal driven.  A vital member of the Transportation Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and secure contents.
• Safely transport glass products to customer sites without damage.
• Load and unload glass using manual lifting or crane equipment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and report shipment issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance by carrying accident kits and using the XRS system.

What We Are Looking For

• Valid Class 3 or 5Q license with ≤5 demerits on driver’s abstract.
• Comfortable with manual lifting up to 75 lbs and driving standard transmission.
• Experience with ELD logbooks, load securement, and road tests.
• Preferably 1+ years of hands-on driving experience.
• Strong customer service mindset and proactive driving skills.
