Hybrid School-Based Resident Therapist presso Samaritan Center

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Resident Therapist (LSW, LCSW) to join our clinical team. This full-time position primarily involves providing counseling services as a Samaritan Center Employee within contracted elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Lancaster County. The therapist will work directly with students in school-based settings, offering individual counseling to support their mental health and emotional well-being.

This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about working with youth in educational environments and is pursuing clinical licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an average of at least 22 client hours per week.
• Deliver clinical services that may include individual, group, couple, and family counseling.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with Center policies.
  
• Collaborate with administrative staff to manage scheduling and documentation.
• Participate in clinical staff meetings, case consultations, and special projects.
• Engage in the Training and Residency Program to build supervision hours toward licensure.
• Participate in program placements such as school-based counseling, TeenHope, or Older Adult Mental Health Program.

Education & Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
• Actively pursuing full state licensure in the relevant clinical discipline (LSW, LCSW)
