Lampton-Love, Inc. is seeking a full-time Regional Sales & Market Development Manager.
The Regional Sales & Market Development Manager will report to Lampton-Love's Vice
President of Operations and will be responsible for driving growth, cultivating new
customer relationships, managing existing customer relationships, and overseeing the
development of new accounts in both retail and industrial/commercial markets.
An ideal candidate for this position will be skilled in time management, problem-solving, sales, marketing and business growth, and business strategy development. This role will combine strategic planning with hands-on customer engagement to increase market
share, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
This position will require an estimated 75% regional travel with a home office at Lampton Love's corporate headquarters located in Flowood, Mississippi.
Regional Sales & Market Development Manager Job Duties:
- Manage regional propane sales to include retail and commercial accounts.
- Develop and negotiate sales contracts and pricing and determine equipment requirements for new commercial accounts
- Participate in sales and marketing strategy development for the company
- Provide account compliance and safety support to include monitoring tank inspections and other compliance requirements for retail and commercial accounts
- Oversee the development of new accounts in both retail and commercial markets to drive sales growth
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Oversee market development to increase market share and growth into new market areas
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to travel 75% of the time
- 10+ years of propane industry experience including retail, commercial, sales, and
management - Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of propane industry regulatory requirements
