A Day in the Life of a Manager, Sales
Are you a driven and dynamic sales leader ready to make a significant impact? Join First Onsite as a Manager, Sales, and take the reins in leading and supporting your team to achieve outstanding results. In this role, you'll spearhead efforts to prospect, close new business, and expand wallet share with existing customers. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing, implementing, and executing a high-impact sales plan designed to exceed your goals.
You'll work closely with both National and Regional Sales teams to foster a cohesive environment and leverage Salesforce as the primary tool for tracking success. Building a diverse network of industry influencers, community partners, and prospective clients will be a key part of your strategy. You'll also play a crucial role in recruiting, hiring, and developing top talent, while ensuring customer commitments are met through active partnership with operations. Additionally, you'll support the RFP team to drive successful outcomes and invest in your professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Laser focus on the customer to ensure an exceptional experience
- Lead & support your team through prospecting, closing new prospects, and expanding wallet share with existing customers
- Develop, implement, and execute your team's sales plan to exceed or achieve your stated sales goals
- Actively partner with National and Regional Sales team members to ensure a cohesive sales environment
- Establish a diverse network of relationships that include people of influence within our industry, key community partners, strategic partners, and prospective clients
- Active in recruiting, hiring, and development, assisting in formal and informal training as needed
- Actively partner with operations to ensure our customer commitments are delivered as promised
- Leverage and utilize Salesforce as the primary sales tool of the organization
- Actively participate in supporting the RFP team to ensure success through the process
- Continuously invest in your personal development
- Willingness to hold others accountable to agreed-upon standards and processes
- Flexibility to travel 20-50%, including overnight
- Travel to disaster sites with extended stays may be required
- Valid driver's license required
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of solution-based selling experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing a sales team or similar internal leadership experience
- Proven track record of initiating and successfully driving new business partnerships
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Ability to balance a strong book of business and lead the team, preferred
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, preferred
