Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Material, Course, and Curriculum Design:

  • Develop engaging and effective training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, job aids, eLearning modules, and other content.
  • Design and build comprehensive training programs, both instructor-led and digital, that align with business goals.
  • Create structured learning curricula to support the continuous development of employees at all levels.

 Learning Delivery:

  • Facilitate learning sessions using various delivery methods, including workshops, webinars, and in-person training.
  • Deliver interactive and impactful learning experiences that promote knowledge retention and on-the-job application.
  • Develop communication plans and promotional materials to drive participation in L&D offerings.

Collaboration:

  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to assess skill requirements, performance gaps, and development needs.
  • Serve as a liaison to plant-based trainers to support local learning initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to deliver high-quality training solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to create relevant, accurate training content.

 Evaluation and Feedback:

  • Establish methods and metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and learning impact.
  • Collect and analyze learner feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Prepare and share insights and recommendations with key stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.

 Learning Technology:

  • Administer and maintain the learning management systems (LMS), supporting users and ensuring course content is up to date.
  • Leverage platforms such as UKG Learning, Alchemy, and Redzone to deliver effective learning experiences.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Stay informed of industry best practices and incorporate relevant strategies into Blommer’s learning processes.
  • Assist in providing necessary materials and training for HR Business Partners, leadership, managers, and employees for various Organizational Development (OD) initiatives.
  • Explore and recommend additional development opportunities such as mentorship, coaching, and peer learning networks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods in a typical office environment.
  • Frequent use of a computer and standard office equipment is required.
  • Requires hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for typing and handling documents.
  • Visual acuity is needed to read digital and printed materials.
  • Adequate hearing is necessary to engage in meetings and facilitate training sessions.
  • Comfort with standing and speaking for extended periods when delivering in-person or virtual training.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time to Blommer plants as necessary to support training and development initiatives.
  • Regular exposure to the plant floor, including exposure to noise, dust, and variation in temperature (hot/cold).

Safety, Quality and Hygiene Requirements:

  • Comply with workplace uniform standards and wear the required safety gear when on the plant floor; follow office attire guidelines when in office settings.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and the code of conduct.

  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to service and accountability.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, embrace change, and show curiosity.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Learning & Development or related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and experience with LMS technologies (experience with UKG Learning a plus) and content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate).
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methods.
  • Well-versed in digital learning, just-in-time/micro-learning, and blended learning strategies.
  • Ability to command a room while facilitating engaging training sessions.
  • Adept at developing and maintaining effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Experienced in training needs analysis and evaluation.
  • Knowledgeable about industry trends and current research.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Education, or related field required.
  • Certification in Training & Development, Instructional Design, or similar area preferred.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at the time of posting is below. The base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. The actual base salary within the specified range is based on several factors, including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, education, certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position. 

This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives. 

Salary Range: $80K-86K
