Hybrid Terminal Manager presso Ross Express

Purpose:

The Terminal Manager is responsible for the efficient operation and management of the terminal and its employees.

Hours: Varies; 50+ hrs/week

Essential Duties:

• Promote and provide customer service/satisfaction above customer expectations.
• Promote and provide positive employee morale and work environment.
• Evaluate and act upon critical terminal operational data.
• Support all safety and human resources related issues.
• Support all company policies and objectives.
• Hold all employees accountable to follow the above-mentioned items.
• Generate profitability for the company.
• Responsible for hiring all terminal personnel and overseeing the 90-day onboarding process/review.
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Fluent command in the English language is required to effectively communicate within the company and with customers.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 
• Must possess solid experience from previous LTL carrier.
• Former experience as a Terminal Manager is a plus.
• Must be able to handle customer demands in a positive and professional manner at all times while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Experience in Operations Management, internal or external, is required.
• Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Some travel may be required.
