This position is hired by the Palmyra Area School District. Current employees of PASD may apply.

Palmyra Area School District is seeking Athletic Event Personnel to assist with our games and athletic contests. Areas in which our Athletic Event Personnel may be assigned include, but are not limited to:

Ticket Sellers/Taker - Collect cash and make correct change, verify athletic and District 3 Inter League Passes, verify and check PASD staff badges for entry into athletic events/contests. This position is paid at $44 per event. This position is already covered by the current Athletic Event Personnel for most events.
Parking Attendant - Monitor parking areas for teams, coaches, referees/umpires, and handicap parking. This position is paid at $48 per event. This is an area of need for most events.
Event Security - Monitor spectator behavior that aligns with both the PIAA sportsmanship message and expectations of the District. Monitor safety of fan zones and bleachers to ensure safety measures are followed. This position is paid at $52 per event. This is an area of need for most events.

Qualifications for our Athletic Event Personnel:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older. PASD students aged 18 years of age or older may apply.
Must be able to work independently with or without supervision.
Working hours will be scheduled primarily in the afternoon/evening/weekend on an as needed basis dependent upon athletic scheduling, subject to field and weather conditions.
Event scheduling may be based upon seniority within the athletic department.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must possess a positive attitude, be energetic, be a team player and take pride in your work.
