The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Gaming Information Systems Agent. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform system duties on surveillance equipment, including programming, network, electricity and the ability to install, maintain, and repair surveillance equipment. Monitor and oversee all aspects of gaming in the Casino.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is preferred.
- Scissor lift Certification, must obtain in 6 months.
- BICSI certification (INSTC, INSTF), is preferred.
- Knowledge of all laws and regulations related to Gaming industry and surveillance, as well as Tribal policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Class II and III gaming operations.
- Minimum one year Low Voltage, Surveillance Technical, Information Technology or related experience required.
- Ability to configure IP Cameras as well as Coax Cameras.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify the root cause of problems quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of various types of Cable management and installation techniques.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications.
- Must be familiar with or be capable of learning various count systems for card games and slots and must have a good understanding of the different games and equipment used in the casino.
- Must have working knowledge of computers and programming.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions and access rights.
2. Maintains, diagnoses and troubleshoots systems and equipment.
3. Assist in planning and execution of managements projects.
4. Participates in the development and implementation key strategies, best practice techniques and tactics to ensure systems optimization.
5. Responsible for installing Fiber and Cat6 cable for new installations.
6. Supervises employees in day to day operations when needed.
7. Provide technical user training and/or support for Surveillance Department.
8. Review and investigate logbook entries and incidents for referral.
9. Responsible for installation, maintenance, and/or repair of all surveillance equipment.
10. Provide technical user training and/or support for Gaming Department.
11. Provide training and assistance to Win-River Casino Security Department on all Surveillance Equipment.
12. Responsible for all surveillance equipment inventory records, service records, and maintenance logs.
13. Responsible to observe entire operation, personnel and property as needed.
14. Report all discrepancies of Procedure/Internal Control, as well as Risks and Liabilities to Surveillance Management.
15. Helps design maintain and or change physical and logical topologies.
16. Provide technical user training on CJIS computer and software.
17. Encrypting and protecting personal data.
18. Maintain a high standard of personal integrity.
19. Participation in continuation education and hands on technology training and testing.
20. Responsible for emergency calls when scheduled or needed.
21. Responsible to maintain confidentiality of Win-River Casino Bingo operations.
22. All other duties assigned or needed by Gaming Commission, Surveillance Manager, and/or Surveillance Systems Administrator.
23. Must be on-call.
24. Conduct investigation/reviews for Casino Management, Surveillance Director, Executive Gaming Director.
25. Trains all Surveillance staff on Surveillance equipment.
