THE ROLE: Shipper / Receiver
LOCATION: Waukesha, WI
REPORTS TO: Manufacturing, Supervisor
POSITION TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt
OUR OPPORTUNITY:
Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor the Shipper / Receiver is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, accepting deliveries, verifying shipment records, accepting shipments, and follows all shipping regulations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver product to the proper inventory location, department or personnel.
- Understand safe handling and placement procedures of heavy loads.
- Change inventory locations when necessary.
- Resolve product and/or receiving concerns.
- Prepare product and documents for shipping to customers.
- Ensure customer order and product match, box, crate, shrink-wrap as necessary.
- Inspect materials and ensure bills of lading are correct.
- Direct or stage customer supplied equipment in appropriate areas.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year experience in receiving or shipping role.
- Experience with workplace tools such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
