SUMMARY:
The Recruiter is responsible for the full cycle consultative recruitment of exempt and non-exempt positions as assigned. Creates and executes annual college recruiting plan. Manages co-op/internship programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Determine appropriate recruiting strategy and develop specific recruitment plans based on type/volume of vacancies.
• Manage the recruitment process by sourcing (generating applicant pools), screening, evaluating and interviewing applicants, providing recommendations for selection of hires. Make offers to candidates as requested.
• Coordinate and attend campus recruiting activities (online and virtual), including career events, company presentations, interviews and other activities as needed.
• Partner with management on seasonal hiring needs, coordinating efforts with enough lead time to fill jobs in a timely manner.
• Manage co-op/internship programs in partnership with property management leadership.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with professional organizations to promote opportunities and participate in events as appropriate.
• Anticipate recruitment problems before they occur; proactively identify possible solutions to complex issues.
• Consistently communicate with hiring managers on all phases of the recruitment life cycle.
• Advise hiring managers of compliance with employment laws and regulations related to the recruiting process.
• Maintain communication with applicants to keep them informed of their status.
• Maintain organized, up to date and accurate records of position and applicant activity.
• Consistently meet (or exceed) set recruiting targets, as assigned.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Complete required trainings as assigned.
• Attend required meetings as requested.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years’ prior recruitment experience, preferably in property management or a related field, including providing consultation to hiring managers on recruitment strategies and candidate selection. Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Experience utilizing social media in recruiting efforts. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experience developing and executing recruitment strategies. Working knowledge of state and federal employment/labor laws and practices related to recruiting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office setting (corporate and/or properties) with occasional travel to colleges/universities for campus recruiting activities.
