Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Planner Operator to support our fast-paced solar module manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for creating, managing, and adjusting production plans to ensure efficient workflow, timely order fulfillment, and effective coordination between departments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, schedule, update, and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on capacity and material availability.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, finance, and logistics) to ensure production plans align with business goals and customer requirements.
Monitor, track, and follow up on special or high-priority orders to ensure timely execution.
Analyze production performance data and generate reports on trends, variances, and forecasts.
Maintain accurate planning records and assist with continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling and planning processes.
Support small-scale O&M or production optimization projects as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate's degree or higher, and relevant experience is preferred.
Prior experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment (preferably electronics, solar, or light industrial).
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to adapt to shift schedules and work in a fast-paced, evolving production setting.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently under pressure.
Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing plant environment.
May be required to stand or walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Frequent use of computer systems, including data entry and schedule monitoring.
Must have visual acuity to prepare reports, analyze data, and read production schedules.
