Objectives of this Role:
The Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of a behavioral health medical services organization specializing in opioid use disorders. This dual-role position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health services, and the ability to coordinate projects effectively while providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Under general to broad supervision, provide administrative support to an executive level of administration within the organization. Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring projects related to opioid use disorder treatment programs, ensuring adherence to organizational goals and compliance standards. Coordinate communication among team members, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution. Maintain and update project documentation, reports, and records accurately and timely. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing correspondence. Support data collection, entry, and analysis related to patient outcomes, program effectiveness, and quality assurance initiatives. Assist in the preparation of grant applications, progress reports, and other funding-related documentation. Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and follow-up communications for behavioral health services. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, confidentiality standards, and organizational policies. Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and community outreach activities focused on opioid use disorder awareness and treatment. Perform related responsibilities as required by the Chief Medical Officer and/or other leadership roles throughout the agency.
Qualifications: High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. Previous experience in project coordination, administrative support, or healthcare setting, preferably within behavioral health or substance use disorder programs. Knowledge of opioid use disorders, treatment modalities, and relevant healthcare regulations. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic health record systems. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team.
