Project Description:

The Quality Auditor will be responsible 
for reviewing and delivering First Article Inspection (FAI) package review results per AS9102 and client requirements. In addition, the role will require FTE to comply with: - Tracking metrics on a daily and weekly basis to status progress on the FAI package workload. - Working closely with the client FAI team to address questions, submit drawing findings, and accurately structure FAI packages.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for prioritizing, reviewing, and delivering First Article Inspections (FAIs) for sustaining parts and development projects.
  • Reviewing balloon drawings of various aircraft parts before they are moved to production to ensure parts meet the client requirements
  • Once a quality review is complete the QA enters the findings into the system.
  • Responsible to perform First Article Inspection assessments for verification of customer requirements.
  • The role will require metrics tracking on a continual basis to meet the increasing FAI load throughout the year.
  • Self-motivated, high-energy individual with a demonstrated use of Quality IM
  • Perform process quality document assessments for verification of First Article Inspection assessments per AS9102 for verification of customer requirements
  • Conduct metrics tracking on a continual basis to meet the increasing FAI load throughout the year
  • Conduct thorough and timely FAI reviews to closure and provide performance metrics to support necessary process improvements
  • Collaborate with the team lead to conduct and drive effective problem solving. 
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must Reside in San Antonio TX
  • 1-Year Blueprint Reading
  • 2 Years Manufacturing Experience
  • 1 Year Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated, high energy with strong decision-making skills
  • Highly effective team player with solid communication skills
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field
  • Experience understanding, reviewing and interpreting inspections
  • Process Outsourcing experience
  • Microsoft Access experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience with graphs and V-Lookup
  • Programming/Coding Skills
