We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Marketing & Communications (MarCom) Associate with 3–5 years of experience, ideally in a Tech, Fintech, or Startup environment. This role is primarily focused on supporting B2B marketing initiatives for Meniga - including sales enablement, content creation, social media (especially LinkedIn), PR, SEO, and events.
In addition, the role includes select support for our B2C retail brand in Iceland – Meniga.is, focused on content creation, user education, and social media. It’s a great opportunity for a well-rounded marketer who enjoys variety, works well cross-functionally, and delivers high-quality content and campaigns with consistency.
The role will occasionally require travel (approx. 10%) to other Meniga offices for events, planning meetings, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
B2B Marketing & Communications (Primary Focus)
- Manage and update the marketing content calendar across B2B campaigns and stakeholders
- Own and execute the LinkedIn content calendar, including post scheduling and reporting
- Coordinate award nominations, press releases, and PR agency deliverables
- Assist in creating sales enablement materials (e.g., one-pagers, decks, brochures)
- Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to produce case studies and testimonials
- Support event planning and execution (logistics, content, branded materials, vendors)
- Prepare visuals and content for internal presentations (e.g., Town Halls, Board Meetings)
- Manage basic corporate website updates, liaising with internal/external resources
Content & SEO
- Review and adapt content from SEO agency partners
- Repurpose long-form SEO articles into bite-sized content (e.g., LinkedIn carousels, blogs)
- Coordinate with SEO agency on technical SEO updates or content improvements
B2C Marketing Support – Meniga.is (Retail Platform in Iceland)
- Learn and become confident using the Meniga.is PFM platform (training provided)
- Create or support production of user onboarding videos and educational content
- Support Meniga.is social media planning and scheduling (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
- Coordinate blog contributions from internal or community sources
- Assist in local campaigns and seasonal pushes (e.g., January user acquisition campaigns)
- Ensure consistency with brand tone, design, and user value across content
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:
- 3–5 years of hands-on marketing and communications experience, ideally in a tech, fintech, or startup environment
- Proven, hands-on experience in managing LinkedIn (company and/or exec content)
- Experience in SEO content management and working with SEO agencies is a plus
- Proven experience supporting or leading event planning and execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and multitasking capabilities
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and optionally TikTok
- Tools such as CMS platforms, Canva, Notion, and Figma
- Familiarity with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to create basic explainer videos or product walkthroughs
- Icelandic language skills are a plus
