Position Overview:
Seeking a versatile, well-rounded professional to uphold both interior cleanliness and outdoor grounds maintenance across varied company zones—including warehouse, welding department, assembly line, and offices.
This role demands proactive execution and adherence to a structured schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grounds & Exterior Care:
- Mow lawns, trim hedges, maintain landscaping, and apply weed-killer or herbicides.
- Keep outdoor areas clean, tidy, and safe (around the whole building, trash compactor)
- Interior & Building Maintenance:
- Handle minor plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep.
- Manage thorough cleaning throughout all areas, especially high-traffic zones like assembly lines, warehouses, and welding departments.
- Empty trash bins with forklift, restock supplies, sanitize surfaces.
- Equipment & Material Handling:
- Operate various cleaning and maintenance equipment.
- Safely move supplies and materials, leveraging forklift usage when needed.
- Schedule & Priority Management:
- Execute a detailed cleaning and maintenance schedule reliably.
- Adjust prioritization based on urgent needs and area-specific demands.

Requirements
Mandatory Activities & Responsibilities
1. Cleaning & Sanitation
- Perform daily cleaning: sweeping, mopping, dusting, web control, floors and surfaces.
- surfaces: desks, door handles, office equipment, restrooms, lobbies, parts in general with dust.
- Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, around door handles grime.
- Empty and manage trash and recycling receptacles throughout all areas—including warehouses, welding, and assembly zones. By hand small and with forklift large.
2. Grounds & Exterior Maintenance
- Mow lawns, trim shrubs and hedges, edge lawns, and maintain landscaped areas
- Weed control, herbicide/pesticide application, debris removal, and snow/ice management if applicable
- Clean outdoor assets: blow walkways, parking lots, empty dumpster areas
- Maintain and perform minor repairs.
- Upkeep exclusive equipment to department.
3. Minor Repairs & Preventive Maintenance
- Fix small plumbing issues (e.g., leaky faucets, clogged toilets), replace light bulbs, carry out minor electrical repairs, painting, drywall, and carpentry.
- Troubleshoot or assist with HVAC system issues and coordinate service as needed.
- Conduct preventive servicing of equipment/tools, cleaning, greasing, blade changes, and ensuring operability.
- Operate forklifts, pressure washers, and custodial equipment safely.
4. Inventory & Supply Management
- Monitor, restock, and manage janitorial and maintenance supplies; reorder proactively as needed
- Ensure janitorial closets and storage areas remain organized, clean, and compliant with safety , upkeep inventory and report.
5. Inspections & Reporting
- Conduct routine inspections: buildings, grounds, equipment for cleanliness, safety, or repair needs
- Report significant maintenance issues promptly to management or facilities team.
6. Security & Access Control
- Unlock and lock buildings at the beginning and end of shifts—monitor access and secure facilities.
- Monitor and report unsafe conditions, potential hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
7. Special Projects & Event Support
- Assist with event setup/breakdown—furniture arrangement, equipment placement across the facility.
- Support occasional special deep-clean tasks like carpet shampooing, waxing, upholstery, vent cleaning, or high-reach dusting
8. Administrative & Training Duties
- Participate in team meetings as required, safety training, and document completion of job tasks.
- Maintain basic records of tasks, service logs, and inventory usage.
