Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day agricultural production activities including crop or livestock operations
- Ensure production targets are met efficiently and within budget.
- Monitor and optimize the use of resources such as labor, equipment, and inputs.
Quality & Compliance:
- Implement and monitor quality control standards.
- Ensure proper handling and application of agricultural chemicals.
- Maintain records for audits and regulatory compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with farmers, suppliers, and clients
- Educate clients on best practices and product usage.
- Represent the company at industry events and meetings.
Planning & Coordination:
- Develop and revise production schedules based on operational needs.
- Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to improve production methods.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track performance metrics such as yield, cost, and efficiency.
- Prepare reports for senior management.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Food Science, or related field.
- Experience in agricultural production, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with agricultural software and data analysis tools.
