Job Title: Part time Recruiting & HR Project Coordinator

Report To : Director of HR

Location: Denver (hybrid, mix of in-office and remote)

Employment Type: Part Time, Flexible hours (up to 25 hours / week)

Compensation: $25 per hour + $40 cell phone stipend


Job Summary:

The Recruiting & HR Project Coordinator will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Colorado Village Collaborative (CVC) by supporting the Director of HR with day-to-day administrative tasks critical in CVC`s recruiting, onboarding and HR project management. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage multiple responsibilities such as job postings, conducting phone screening interviews, running background checks, answering emails in a timely manner, etc. This role will support the HR department ensuring that administrative HR functions enhance their ability to fulfill CVC's mission.


Key Responsibilities:

Partner with Director of HR on the following:

Recruitment:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job posting for both part-time and full-time roles.
  • Schedule and conduct initial phone interview.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline by recommending qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide timely communication with candidates throughout the process to ensure a positive experience


Onboarding:

  • Prepare and send offer letters and new hire paperwork.
  • Coordinate Pre- boarding logistics (laptop, work email, slack set up),  
  • Support HR compliance requirements such as background checks, references, and I-9.
  • Facilitate first-day in person orientation sessions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process.
  • Collect and maintain new hire documentation in accordance with policy.
  • Partner with the HR director to develop and improve onboarding documentation and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to all HR administrative task.


HR Project Management Skills:

  • Assist HR Director in coordinating employee training sessions, track attendance, and maintain training records.
  • Assist in the administration of performance review processes and documentation.
  • Work with the HR Director to identify training needs and resources.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and metrics for the HR Director.
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or HR project support

Strong communication and organizational skills

Familiarity with ATS or HRIS platforms is a plus

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Comfortable working independently and across teams

Passion for mission- driven work and equity in hiring.

Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace.

Paylocity work experience is a plus
