POSITION TITLE: Item Entry Technician – Contact Fill
SCHEDULE: 8:30am-5:00pm, M-F In Office
LOCATION: Mechanicsburg, PA
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Manager of Contact Fill, the Item Entry technician is responsible for individual order processing, file and manage customer records, log and process new mail and emails, take new orders and dispense products, and obey all State and Federal HIPAA regulations. This role supports our Contact Fill Division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Individual order processing including preparation, verification, edits, obtaining NVA authorizations, claims, invoicing, ordering products from manufacturers, and fulfillment
- Create and manage customer profiles
- Log and process mail and emails (new orders, customer correspondence, and returned products)
- Manage new and shipped batches including printing and updating statuses
- Take new orders or dispensing products to walk in customers
- Receive and distribute products, log inventory monthly
- Track lost or delayed packages and add shipping costs or credits to database
- Assist the Call Center and customers by phone and/or email in a professional manner
- Correct customer service errors
- Charge customer credit cards for product dispensed (captures and new charges)
- List all transactions in “Daily Sales” and complete a daily reconciliation spreadsheet
- Create a monthly Ship Cost report and print invoices from manufacturer’s website
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess one year customer service
- Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, extremely detail oriented and have an excellent work ethic
- Ability to learn new computer systems, including Microsoft Products, company phone system
- Ability to effectively communicate with co- workers and other departments
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy/procedures manual, customer order forms and prescriptions
- Ability to work standing up and to be able to lift ten pounds
- Experience with optical concepts
- Ability to interpret contact prescriptions preferred
- High School diploma required
