Pivot Parking is actively seeking a Maintenance Ambassador to join our growing team in downtown Richmond. We are seeking a self-motivated candidate to assist with general upkeep as well as repairs and maintenance of equipment and to the parking facilities that we operate. Ideal candidates possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer service while assisting patrons to the facilities, as well as general facility maintenance responsibilities. This position will play an integral role in assuring our contractual obligations are met in addition to providing the highest level of customer service with an equally important focus on safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of the operations.
Key Job Duties Include:
Adhere to a comprehensive checklist to conduct daily facility inspections in parking garages & lots to ensure cleanliness & safety standards are met for our customers, reporting any discrepancies and or deficiencies that may be identified on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain operation of parking access control equipment to ensure minimal to no downtime in order to maximize the revenue collections for each facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of all parking access control equipment & garage signage on a frequent basis, reporting damage or areas of concern and performing needed repairs.
- Assuring all high traffic areas (vehicular and pedestrian) within the facilities are sanitized and free of all debris and hazardous conditions.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on any parking equipment and facility related items (lighting, drains, sprinkler systems, etc).
- Identify safety-related concerns & provide corrective action plan to facility manager.
- Assist with implementation & completion of projects & initiatives that may arise throughout the facility as assigned.
- Assist with the removal of snow, ice, or standing water on an as-needed basis.
- Assist customers with utilizing payment devices, especially during peak ingress/egress and be willing to assist with traffic control during special events.
- Routine enforcement of the parking areas to ensure all vehicles are authorized and parked properly.
- Limited touch up painting.
Compensation: $16.00-$17.00 (Depending On Experience)
Work location: In Person

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Requirements
Skills:
- Ability to work in high volume environment in an unsupervised capacity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude at all times, especially when responding to requests for assistance/service.
- Must be able to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events and be available to work flexible schedule and rotating weekend day.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to walking/standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs.
High School diploma or a combination of experience & education.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
