About your new Career:
Lewis Apartment Communities currently seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for its beautiful community, Santa Barbara at Chino Hills, in Chino Hills, CA. Great opportunity for a proactive and positive team leader to take on this beautiful 324-unit community!
As our new supervisor, you should have a proven supervisory background along with strong experience in all aspects of general residential maintenance.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Management of Maintenance and Grounds staff
- Strong all-around maintenance skills in the apartment industry
- Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc) installation and repair
- Making ready units for new occupancy
- Interaction with community manager and staff
- Walking property with community manager
- Maintaining units of current residents
- Managing/negotiating with outside vendors
- Maintaining the leasing office and all recreation facilities
- Requires reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

- Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed
- Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
- Prior staff supervision background
- Strong all-around residential maintenance skills in the apartment/residential industry
- Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers, stoves, etc.) installation and repair
- HVAC Certification is a big plus
