đŒâŻThe RoleÂ
As Finance Manager, youâll be at the heart of our financial operations, leading a small team and delivering insightful reporting that empowers decision-makers across the firm. Youâll manage the Management Accounts and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring robust financial control, compliance, and strategic support.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Lead monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)Â
- Mentor and manage a small, high-performing finance teamÂ
- Analyse performance vs. budget, delivering actionable insightsÂ
- Collaborate on rolling forecasts and annual budgetsÂ
- Support Board reporting and strategic planningÂ
- Oversee financial controls, statutory compliance, and annual auditÂ
- Review payroll reports and ensure accurate paymentsÂ
- Partner with support functions and department headsÂ
- Stay current with accounting standards and Solicitors Accounts RulesÂ
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvementÂ

đŻâŻWhat Weâre Looking ForÂ
Essential:Â
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualifiedÂ
- Proven experience in a hands-on finance roleÂ
- Strong UK accounting knowledge (VAT, PAYE, statutory reporting)Â
- People management and development skillsÂ
Desirable:Â
- Experience in LLPs or professional servicesÂ
- Familiarity with Solicitors Accounts RulesÂ
- Knowledge of Anaplan or similar forecasting toolsÂ
