JOB SUMMARY

 

The Dealer Development Administrator will support the Dealer Development Supervisor and be a key liaison to the legal department and the field. This position will help manage the dealer Tractor and CCE agreements following up on dealer actions. The administrator will also take ownership of the dealer files making sure they are updated.   

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

  • Assist in the preparation of New Dealer Agreements and follow-up with the execution of signatures.
  • Renews Dealer Sales and Service Agreements as they expire.
  • Assist in managing Dealer Sales and Service Agreements. Making sure the required documents are received for major dealer actions such as: Ownership change, Adding a branch location, Name Change, Relocation and terminations. 
  • Manage UCC-1 and PPSA dealer filings.
  • Follow-up on intercreditor and subordination agreements.
  • Manage UTV State Renewal Licenses.
  • Assist in the preparation and writing of dealer correspondence. 
  • Interface with other departments, mostly with the legal department.
  • Keep track of dealer terminations and required documents.
  • Take ownership of managing dealer files

 

 

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of administrative experience; experience in an administrative role in a legal environment is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to support field staff and dealer calls.
  • Advanced knowledge of word processing, document formatting and information management, including Word, Excel, Outlook, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of UCC-1 and PPSA filings is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of State Distributer Licensing is strongly preferred.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with a great attitude and hard work ethic. 
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints with minimal supervision.
  • Must have excellent communication skills for interaction with all departments and management levels.
  • Must be able to deal with confidential and sensitive matters consistently discreetly and in a professional manner. 
  • Ability to proofread and perform editing of legal correspondence.
  • Attention to details regarding letters, agreements and other legal documents.
