Job Overview:

The Wellness Ambassador at our luxury hotel is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests utilizing the gym, spa services, grab-and-go food and beverage items, and locker rooms. This role requires a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Wellness Ambassador will ensure guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience, from check-in to check-out.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests to the gym, spa, and locker room areas, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes for gym and spa services, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Answer inquiries about gym facilities, spa services, food and beverage options, and locker room amenities, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Manage reservations for spa services, coordinating with spa staff to ensure availability and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle transactions for grab-and-go food and beverage items, maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper cash handling.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the gym, spa, and locker room areas, ensuring all areas meet the hotel's high standards.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Maintain an inventory of spa products, towels, and other amenities, coordinating with the housekeeping and purchasing departments to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Assist with the organization and execution of special events or promotions in the gym and spa areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Fitness and Wellness Managers.


 Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a luxury hotel or spa environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hotel management software.
  • Knowledge of gym equipment, spa services, and food and beverage handling is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
