SABCA Brussels is also the home to our "Unmanned Autonomous Systems" aka: the drones solutions unit!
Mission:
Your main mission as Quality Control Manager is to oversee and ensure compliance with the processes, procedures, and quality standards established by the company. .
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain control systems compliant with aviation regulations:
- Ensure rigor in applying part and process compliance requirements;Support FAI (First Article Inspection) processes;
- Support and guide Gage R&R studies;
- Ensure calibration of measuring instruments.
Collaborate closely with various operational teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions:
- Ensure timely creation of non-conformities and resolution before releasing a part;
- Support Quality Clinics.
Evaluate operational processes and identify areas needing improvement or adjustment to ensure maximum efficiency:
- Ensure production scheduling can be guaranteed at QC;
- Provide input to SQDCP and follow up on requested actions;
- Apply Lean principles to make processes more efficient;
- Review inspection data to propose sampling for stable processes.
Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits within the QC department to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements;
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all quality processes in accordance with regulations and applicable standards;
Ensure reporting.
As a People Manager, your tasks will include:
- Participating in the recruitment process and managing onboarding;
- Guiding and motivating the team to achieve objectives, ensuring reporting and monitoring KPIs;
- Managing skills matrices and team training;
- Inspiring, motivating, and recognizing efforts: team engagement, annual evaluations, fostering a culture of positive feedback, and promoting daily well-being.
You are responsible for:
Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard;
Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work;
Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support.
Profile
Education: You hold a university degree in Industrial Engineering with sufficient knowledge of Materials and Mechanics.
Desired experience: You possess basic technical knowledge in the relevant field, with 8 to 10 years of valuable experience.
Soft Skills:
- You are an assertive person with a strong personality and rigor;
- You have leadership skills, team management, and problem-solving abilities;
- You have excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills;
- You are able to work in a dynamic and multifunctional environment;
- You have a sense of responsibility and are able to transfer this to the QC team.
Technical skills :
- You have in-depth knowledge of EN ISO 9100 standards, Part 21;
- You are familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Languages: You are bilingual in French and English (spoken, read, and written), knowledge of Dutch (read and spoken) is a plus.
- IT skills: You have strong expertise in GD&T and MSA.
