Duties
Contracting responsibilities include all actions from: Developing acquisition plans to issuing complex solicitations to contract award to administering contracts through closeout. Assists and guides lower graded contracting associates in their duties develops their skills, knowledge and abilities. Assigns contracting tasks and actions, evaluates performance. Coordinates work of various departments, acts as business advisor to internal customers, manages supplier relationship to fulfill current/future contract needs. Assists in the implementation of category management and strategic sourcing methodologies to support the development and execution of category management strategies for assigned sub-categories. Serves as a subject matter expert to internal business units. Develops and maintains strong business relationships and collaboration with internal business units, vendors, industry experts, other agencies, and other key stakeholders. Effectively manages associated pipelines of strategic sourcing events.
Requirements
An NACI (T1), OGE 450 Background Investigation is required for this position. Position requires an onsite office presence. Exchange Corporate office location is 3911 S Walton Walker Blvd, Dallas TX. 75236. Associate must obtain contracting officer authority certification within 12 months of selection.
Qualifications
Five years of contracting/procurement experience required. Or Bachelor's degree with three years of contracting/procurement experience required. Technical (Required/Preferred Skills/Systems): MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS - Required ORACLE IPROCUREMENT SYSTEM - Preferred SOURCE TO PAY/PROCURE TO PAY SYSTEMS - Preferred
Education
High School Diploma Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
