About the Department
The Office of Family Safety (OFS) is hiring for a non-Civil Service position that will be responsible for managing the High-Risk Intervention Panel (HRIP), which is a multi-disciplinary team reviewing high-risk cases of intimate partner violence. The position will be responsible for providing case coordination, research, meeting facilitation, and case follow-up. The position will research and implement innovative high-risk case review strategies, provide support for other high-risk initiatives at the office, and provide technical assistance to other high-risk teams around the country as needed. The position will support the Director of High-Risk Programs in the standardization and innovation of high-risk teamwork and case coordination.

Position Duties
Data
- Assist with database development to track cases for programs with case review or direct casework
- Develop and maintain a database to track cases for high-risk team case review
- Collect high-risk and related data internally and from partners on individuals and case outcomes
- Help create sustainable initiatives and policies from trends, data, and quality assurance work
Partner Coordination & Collaborative Team Building
- Meeting preparation, support, and follow-up coordination
- Meeting preparation/coordination and follow-up tasks for High-Risk Intervention Panel
- Identification of and management of high-risk case reviews by a multi-disciplinary team.
- Identify firearms, sexual assault, and strangulation cases for enhanced case review.
- Assist with the coordination and outputs of the High-Risk Intervention Panel’s Review Team
- Act as a liaison with all jurisdictions across the state interested or active in developing high-risk review teams, particularly those with Family Justice Centers
- Provide technical assistance in the operation or development of High-Risk Review Teams in person or remotely to interested jurisdictions or active teams.
- Facilitate weekly and monthly meetings for the High-Risk Intervention Panel with internal and external partners
- Provide additional support or technical assistance as needed to multi-disciplinary teams that work with interpersonal violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking
Training & Education
- Develop and coordinate educational videos for OFS and partners
- Develop and deliver trainings and supporting materials on High-Risk teams as needed
Research & Writing
- Research existing programs and best practices for topic areas
- Author informative documents, reports, and policies when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to engage in positive collaboration with individuals and groups with diverse perspectives
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong leadership and collaborative team-building experience
- Strong training/facilitation experience and skills
- Strong administrative skills with Microsoft programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and effective intervention strategies
- Background check
Other Qualifications
- Experience working on domestic violence, sexual assault, or related issues
- Experience with programs that create compelling video or presentation materials.
- Experience with data management and analytics, particularly Microsoft Access
- Experience working in or with both non-profits and the criminal justice system
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams/collaboratives
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
