Seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Physician to join our Wellness team. This position involves providing comprehensive medical care to athletes at all levels, from youth to professional. Main medical coverage as-needed is at events or sporting facilities.Job Description
Job Duties:
- Available at various sporting events or locations throughout the year for medical needs.
- Provide medical care for athletes during games, practices, or training sessions.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of sports-related injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with athletic trainers, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal athlete health.
- Make informed decisions regarding athlete return-to-play status.
- Develop and implement emergency action plans for sporting events.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in sports medicine and related fields.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license.
- Experience in sports medicine (Wellness).
