Post 2: Working Weds 1.00pm to 5.00pm, Thurs and Fri 8.30am to 5.00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality, customer focussed reception service to all users of Northern College.
- Deal with all enquiries to the college, in-person, via telephone, email and any digital systems such as webchat.
- Carry out tasks relating to course enrolment and residential check-in including the production of ID badges, allocation of bedrooms, preparing and issuing room keys.
- Check all student finance travel claims, ensuring all aspects of the form are completed and processed according to guidelines.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Knowledge and understanding of effective customer service and techniques for dealing with a diverse range of customer situations
- Experience of working in a student facing support service within an educational setting.
- Experience of dealing with customer enquiries via a variety of methods including telephone, in person and email.
- GCSE English and maths (Grade C/4) or equivalent level qualification.
