Position Overview:
Dayton-Granger, Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you’ll perform inspections on in-process and finished assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards. Using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, you’ll verify critical dimensions, review blueprints and engineering changes, and maintain accurate inspection records. Your attention to detail will directly contribute to the production of advanced avionics products for commercial, general aviation, and military programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspects in-process and/or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
- Performs tasks from blueprints, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures.
- Determines acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements of unit.
- Prepares and maintains inspection reports and records.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management
- Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with precision inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring Instruments
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs
- Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills in English
