Starting Pay: $76.24 - $95.29 (based on experience)

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Human Resources, or Organizational Development required; a related master’s degree preferred.
  • Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resource Management within a healthcare environment with exposure to staff, physician and executive compensation, benefits, labor relations, recruiting, and performance management.
  • Knowledgeable of current and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to make effective group presentations.
  • The ability to maintain effective working relationships with board members, medical staff, management staff, and employees throughout the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establishing Human Resources department goals and initiatives.
  • Supporting OMC’s operational and strategic objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining OMC’s human resource policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable law and regulations.
  • Providing guidance and training to leadership staff on employment issues.
  • Leading OMC’s labor relations function.
  • Preparing and managing the Human Resources department’s annual budget.
  • Managing the executive and clinician compensation programs.
  • Supporting and supervising direct reports.
  • Ensuring that the staff and clinician recruitment processes successfully attract and retain qualified staff.
  • Supporting the staff and leadership development program.
  • Providing oversight and input into the staff compensation function.
  • Supporting employee relations activities in support of a positive work environment.
  • Supporting the credentialing process in partnership with the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Ensures deployment of an effective orientation and onboarding program.
  • Supports HRIS administration, ensuring effective utilization of HR technology systems.
  • Oversees and supports the operations of OMC’s welfare and retirement benefit programs.
  • Partners with the Occupational Medicine Department to provide employee health services.
