EHS Specialist
About the Role
We’re looking for an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to help us maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You’ll partner with teams across the facility to ensure compliance, drive safety initiatives, and support sustainability efforts that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.
Maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
Oversee environmental compliance (waste, stormwater, air emissions).
Lead sustainability projects and prepare ESG documentation.
Deliver EHS training and keep records up to date.
Promote safety awareness through meetings, campaigns, and toolbox talks.
Conduct ergonomic assessments and lead behavior-based safety programs.
Track EHS performance metrics and maintain OSHA logs.
What You Bring
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (EHS software a plus).
Preferred certifications: OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, CSP, ASP.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing.
