JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for ensuring payment operations duties are completed accurately and timely. Work is performed under the direction of the Director of Payment Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Process Payroll Deduction forms and files for multiple SEGs..
• Perform ACH functions for both Receiving and Origination files.
• Perform multiple duties relating to Credit and Debit cards including postings, research, reporting and assisting Member Experience with questions.
• Distribute reports to others as needed.
• Must be adept in spreadsheet software and other accounting computer systems.
• Research requests received from the Contact Center, Branches and other departments as needed.
• Collect and distribute the mail for the Payment Operations Department.
• Order supplies as needed for the Payment Operations Department.
• Performs other duties as backup or assigned/needed in the department.
• Serves as backup for departmental staff.

 DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

• Minimum Highschool Diploma
• One year of banking experience. 
• Adept at spreadsheet software, MS Excel skills, MS Outlook email internet skills.
• Must possess and be able to apply basic and accounting skills.
• Possess familiarity with Credit Union’s computer system and operate a personal computer.
• Must be detail oriented, and possess excellent organizational, research and problem-solving skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
• Must perform work accurately, quickly and with high dependability.
