About the Department
Performs heavy manual work of routine difficulty in the collection of refuse and recyclable materials. Work is performed under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Position Duties
High school diploma or GED; supplemented by some manual labor experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a valid Florida driver's license and satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
