Hybrid Material Handler II presso Ampac Fine Chemicals

The Chemical Materials Handler II performs various tasks related to the receiving, sampling, storage, movement, distribution, packaging, and shipping of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficient use of various types of forklifts (LPS, stand-up, narrow aisle, swing reach).
• Maintain facility in a cGMP compliant manner.
• Receive, inspect, document, and label incoming raw materials.
• Perform warehouse specific functions in electronic inventory system.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all materials.
• Obtain representative samples for acceptance testing.
• Transport various chemicals/materials to support manufacturing activities.
• Responsible for the receipt, storage, movement, and shipping of regulated materials.
• Prepare, package, and ship dangerous goods.
• Allocate specified materials to support pharmaceutical manufacturing process.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience 

• Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.

Skills 

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a high consciousness for personal and laboratory safety.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team Oriented
