We seek a motivated, fellowship-trained PM&R physician specializing in both spine care and sports medicine. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, physician-led practice that emphasizes collaboration, patient care, and professional development. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills and enjoy working within a team-oriented environment.
- Focus Areas: Spine care (acute and chronic), interventional spine procedures (injections), musculoskeletal care, sports medicine
- Specialty: This role combines interventional spine care with sports medicine, offering diverse and challenging cases for a well-rounded physician. We do not focus on pain medication management, but rather on innovative, non-surgical treatments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our spine team and sports medicine specialists to provide comprehensive care options, including surgical referrals when needed.
- Outreach Clinics: The new PM&R physician will rotate through our outreach clinics 2 times per month, extending our care to underserved communities in Northern Arizona.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Evaluate and manage both acute and chronic spine conditions, performing interventional procedures such as spine injections.
- Multidisciplinary Approach: Collaborate with spine surgeons, PM&R physicians, and APPs to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- EMG Studies: Collaborate with our experienced techs who perform the nerve conduction studies (NCS) and take an active role in performing the Electromyography (EMG) portion of the exam. You will interpret the findings from both the NCS and EMG studies, integrating these results into comprehensive patient care plans for spine and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Outreach Clinics: Provide care at our outreach clinics 2 times per month, offering access to underserved communities.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options to ensure they make informed decisions about their care.
- Leadership: Contribute to team building and mentoring within the practice, assisting with patient care, setting a high standard for clinical excellence, and helping the partnership maintain our private practice. The shared goal is for the physician to achieve ownership/partnership in 25 months.

Requirements
- Education: Graduate of a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program.
- Fellowship Training: Fellowship training in Interventional Spine/Pain Management and Sports Medicine.
- Skills: Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
