Position Summary
The Testing Associate performs all tasks involved in the assembly, testing, finishing, and troubleshooting of manufactured products within the scope of the Electronics business unit. We are consistently developing new products that require talented and technical employees not afraid of a challenge.

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions:
- Perform calibration and testing of electronic assemblies from start to finish according to the schedule, specifications, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Contribute to a continuous improvement culture by identifying opportunities to improve speed and implementing solutions to technical problems
- Prepare reports summarizing output and test results
- Learn and standardize assembly/testing processes for new products
- Assist with the rework and troubleshooting of electro/mechanical assemblies and customer returns
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes as required
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment, tools, and fixtures
- Performs other duties as required and assigned; duties and activities may change over time

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to non-toxic fumes, airborne particles, and various temperatures. The employee may operate or work in proximity to high voltage testers and moving mechanical equipment, so awareness and safety are paramount..
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The position requires the ability to concentrate while performing work. The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

Requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must have experience operating a computer
Electronics and/or sensor testing a plus
Feel comfortable lifting up to 35 pounds (occasionally)
Be comfortable working with and influencing diverse team members
Occasional overtime to meet business needs
Be conversant in English for safe and effective performance of the job
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
