Hybrid Middle School Special Education Teacher 1420 presso Winchester Public Schools, MA

McCall Middle School is seeking a Special Education Teacher to serve as the case manager and teacher for students with moderate disabilities.

• Provide and guide instruction in general education and partial inclusion settings across grades 6-8.
• Implement the educational program and related services as outlined in the assigned students’ IEPs.
• Maintain supervision and safety of students at all times.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies for a positive learning environment, supporting academic and social-emotional objectives for each student.
• Create, complete, and update IEPs and progress reports; maintain required records and data.
• Collaborate with and support ESPs (i.e., para-educators).
• Preference to candidates with training and experience working with students with social-emotional learning profiles.
• Experience with co-teaching is preferred.
• Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Certification in Moderate Disabilities.
• Ideally Master's plus 3 years of experience.
