Hybrid Co-Op - Energy Security presso Co-Ops at New York ISO

The NYISO invites applications for a full-time co-op student on the Energy Security Team.

The Co-Op student will work closely with the Energy Security team members and gain exposure to diverse areas of the power industry including environmental regulations and fuel security. This individual will be expected to work with Tableau, create and optimize dashboards, and develop scripts in Python or MATLAB.

The student will also learn about the environmental regulations affecting energy generation in New York to provide a broader perspective on how regulations impact operational decisions and business strategies. Additionally, the student will analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and identify automation opportunities.

Qualifications include:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelors program in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, Tableau, and Microsoft Office
• Strong written and oral communication skills
