Standard Supply is a private and independently owned distributor of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment and related parts and supplies in the HVAC/R industry.  Our goal is to continually "Deliver Solutions" to aid our customers in more efficient and reliable procurement of their HVAC/r product needs.  Founded in 1946 the company has grown dramatically in the last decade.  

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage our warehouse in Austin, TX.  The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining quality customer service through accurate on-time deliveries, improvement of personnel productivity, control over costs, and management of workplace safety.  The supervisor should be able to  provide continual on-the-job training and coaching to warehouse associates.

Summary

• Leads and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in stock, as well as delivery of goods
• Training employees as well as planning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Assess service alternatives for delivery and implement standardized methodology for cost efficient delivery meeting customer required time frame
• Develop, manage, and continually improve methods to minimize errors while maintaining or improving productivity

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred
• 10+ years experience in a Distribution Center environment
• 3+ years experience leading, coaching, and developing personnel
• 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience
• Experience with RF scanning
• Familiarity with 5S or Lean
• Safety experience highly desired
• Inventory control/management experience
• Forklift experience
• Receiving experience
• Must have experience interacting with customers and be customer focused
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
• Attention to detail
