Tasks
This position is for Rendering Dept. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, heavy lifting up to 70lbs or more at times. Driving forklifts bobcats, scissor lifts, and shovels. usage of lock out tag out and fall arrest may be required. Operators are required to work on their equipment and trouble shoot issues that may arise. Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment working with steam and hot grease or outside in the winter. These areas have slippery walking surfaces. Must be able to work with chemicals. Will be required to wear all standard Tyson issue PPE, in addition to specific PPE required for rendering jobs. Operative jobs require a higher skill level. Jobs May require climbing stairs/ladders.
Requirements
This Dept. runs 6 days a week.
Must be willing and able to work In the following work environments’, Environment Hot and Humid
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
Operators are required to work on their equipment and trouble shoot issues that may arise.
