About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager to deliver an exceptional client experience while ensuring their goals are met. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the most innovative and forward-thinking companies in complex, regulated markets. In this role, you will play a key role in driving business growth through expansion, cross-selling, renewals, and by integrating valuable client feedback into our broader team strategy.
What you'll do
Client Experience & Engagement
- Manage the full lifecycle experience of our clients, from a curated onboarding experience to renewal.
- Build and execute client-specific success and project plans by understanding their goals for membership and ensuring those goals are met.
- Host ongoing training sessions for Link users, driving adoption and enhancing overall platform stickiness.
- Deliver structured account business reviews that communicate the value provided by Liminal’s Link product.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Upsell existing single-seat users into enterprise accounts, ensuring 100% of accounts convert to 3-seat minimums.
- Achieve a 90%+ gross retention rate on platform customers, with a target of 120%+ net dollar retention.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Research and Advisory teams to ensure content is delivered according to plan.
- Collaborate with the Link team to ensure membership content is up to date and aligned with client needs.
- Track and integrate client feedback into internal teams, ensuring continuous improvement of the client experience.
Data & Process Management
- Use data and analytics to quantify the client experience, particularly through NPS and CSAT surveys.
- Maintain and organize key materials, including decks, documents, and notes, across internal tools such as HubSpot, Airtable, Asana, and Docsend/Docusign.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing a book of business, working directly with key decision-makers and executives in private equity, venture capital, and technology companies.
- Proven ability to grow accounts by understanding client needs, delivering an exceptional client experience, and fostering strong relationships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined, with excellent project management and follow-up skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
