Role/Purpose:The Technical FSM Bending Machinist I is responsible for the Brake Press, uses brake presses and miscellaneous equipment to create, shape and customize materials into a variety of forms as dictated by mechanical prints while maintaining safety and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Reads blueprints from designers and engineersRuns bend and forming operations using standard diesOperates Manual Box Brake, Slip Roller and GMC Power RollerPerforms routine preventative maintenance on machineryFollows the work schedule as assigned, ability to layout the correct priorities for the work scheduledEnsure all parts produced is confirmed in SAP, tagged and stagged in proper locationsPerforms routine preventative maintenance on machineryPerforms Quality at The Source checks on made partsAccurately records actual labor estimates on all production ordersKeeps work area(s) clean and organized to 5S standardsAdheres to all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned
