About The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with deep expertise in JavaScript, UI development, and Red Hat technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying modern, user-friendly interfaces and full-stack solutions for enterprise or government environments. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with project requirements.
Job Duties:
Design and implement responsive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
Integrate front-end components with Red Hat Middleware, APIs, and back-end services.
Work within Red Hat OpenShift or similar container platforms to deploy and manage applications.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to design guidelines.
Implement secure coding practices in compliance with federal or industry standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI-related issues.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning.
Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and consultants.
Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and configurations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on UI development.
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
Experience with Red Hat JBoss EAP, Red Hat OpenShift, or Red Hat Middleware.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and microservices integration.
Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
