Weyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for a Plant Administrative Assistant for our Idabel, Oklahoma Lumber facility.  We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.  

As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the schedule of activities for the Main Office as well as completing site functions, including but not limited to production metric reporting, vacation management for hourly employees, payroll processing and assisting with new hire
pre-employment processing and onboarding. This position reports to the Mill Manager.

Key Functions: 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing hourly payroll

  • Preparing materials for presentations or reports using various software applications

  • Scheduling various mill meetings

  • Maintaining various types of tracking systems and files including retention and storage compliance

  • Providing administrative support for the HR function to include assessment and hiring support, assisting with on-boarding new associates, managing job bid processes, administering random drug testing, fielding benefits and HR transaction questions.  Will provide leadership or support to several mill projects at any given time.
